approving multiple journals in GL workflow

Dear Friends

I have a question regarding approving the journals. The Finance Manager is the last approving authority before the Posting is active.

He wants to approve multiple requests at one go i.e. selecting multiple journals without going inside for each one.

If this facility is available and if not then what is the recommendation from Microsoft. Any documentation in this regard.

Please let me know as i want to resolve this issue and present him expert opinion with Microsoft document validation.

    Hello sayyed ar,

    To my knowledge this is not available in standard AX2012.

    Yet, when I read your comment I really wonder if you need that journal approval workflow because it looks as if your manager just wants to select the journals and hit the approved button without making a detailed check of the individual journal lines.

    If this is the case then you can stop using the workflow approval for your journals because you won't need this feature ...

    Thank you for your prompt reply. that's exactly what I told the concerned Manager. Can you give me some reference from Microsoft Documentation regarding the recommended practice for Workflow? This would be helpful while arguing my case

    There is some information available on MS docs.

    It is not really deep in regards to a process perspective but it might help.
