    HI DCJenkins,

There is no functional feature to change the date or revert the published hierarchy. When there are no new transactions or additions in the database, a restore with point in time could help. Otherwise you will need to change data in SQL directly which is far from recommended. If you are using Dynamics 365, then this is not possible as you don't have access to the database. You can also write an x++ script to change data. But test it carefully as it would be very easy to cripple the database on this data model.

Is there anyway to revert a published hierarchy back to an earlier date? short of deleting and re-creating.

    Hi Dhanya,

When you publish a version of an hierarchy, the date should be a date after the last published date. What dates did you use? If you have one published today, you can eventually use a date of tomorrow to overcome this validation error.

If you need to change the published date, it would be a cumbersome job by changing values in multiple tables. If you just can use another date, it would be the most easy solution.
