G/l entry in Project Management

Dear Members,

When I create and post entry in Project journal in project management only the type with item creates g/l entry. The type with other categories like resource & g/l account doesnot create g/l entries it shows only project ledger entries. How to create g/l entries for for the categories resource & g/l account? Is there any setup to be done for this? Please help me with this requirement.

You can use the Project G/L Journal to post to a project a gl account if you want the entry to go to the gl as well. For resources, its not possible out of the box without customization. Resources dont post a cost to the gl like items do so theres no gl entry.

Or you post from Sales Invoice, which will generate GL Entries
