D365 App for Outlook - Field grayed out

In our CRM, we have the field "Source Campaign" - it is a lookup field. It works everywhere except in the D365 for Outlook. All our other lookup fields work in the app, just not this one. I've checked and double checked all the settings and cannot figure out what the issue is.

    Hi Tonya,

    Is field "Source Campaign" locked in the Sales Hub or Customer Service Hub or other UCI?

    Please check if there are any business rules or Javascript that lock this field.

    Yes - it is grayed out in the UI as well (we're on-prem and still using classic web, which is why I hadn't noticed that little tidbit!).

    Here's an active contact showing the field filled in. It's locked, and there's a little megaphone next to it. 

    There are no active business rules associated with this field.

    Again, this is the only lookup field that's grayed out! 

    Not sure how I would check if there's any javascript associated with this field.

    Hi Tonya,

    1. Check if the Campaign entity has been enabled Read-only in mobile.

    Go to SettingsCustomizationsCustomize the System, under Entity click Campaign.

    Clear the Read-only in mobile check box in the Campaign entity metadata if it is checked.

    2. Check if the field "Source Campaign" is checked Available on the phone in the form editor.

    Open the Contact form editor, open the field "Source Campaign" properties, checked Available on the phone.

    The option to click 'enable for mobile' is unavailable. It's not checked, and I can't change it.

    On the form, the field is checked, however. 

    Is being available for phones a requisite for all the UI stuff? It doesn't seem that that's the issue, since all my other lookup fields are marked the same way, but they work. I think it's time to call Microsoft. Grrrr and harrumph.

    Yes. If you don't get a solution, then I recommend you raise a Microsoft support ticket.
