If we add a new custom datasource to the existing list page say production list page then I want to add a filter in - type to filter " of the newly added datasource fields but that field is not added to the grid. How can I implement this?

Yes this is an option but what I want is that when you go for "type to filter" and next to it is a drop down then in the end there is a "more" option . now I want on the click of that I should be able to see my custom datasource so that I can select my field from there and apply filter . But even after adding my custom ds to the query I am not able to see that datasource on the "more" options .Can this be implemented ? If yes .How?
Well it should be possible, if the field part of the query ( I have not tried it before). For more reference check the below link docs.microsoft.com/.../add-additional-tables-to-advanced-queries
