We're seeing a change in our Appointments when we change the Appointment Status from Scheduled to Completed, the endtime changes to the current time.
We want to retain the Appointment date and time that was set in the original Appointment.
I'm sure this has changed recently as it was not behaving like this previously.
Do you know of the settings behind this behaviour?
Thanks in advance
Hi,
Any response from Microsoft on this issue. Any API update to time entry when a booking is completed, shows incorrect date in End Date.
Hello everyone, same issue here does anyone have a workaround for this?
We have the same issue. Is there any update on this at all?
Also, is there a reference that it is possible to share for the ticket or issue?
Just started to have the same problem - that the end date is updated on each booking status update . Got a solution from Microsoft yet?
I've raised a ticket with MS and they have commented:
The development team are referring this to be a known issue with Microsoft and would be testing some fixes internally before raising it to the Product team
I'm still waiting for this to be fixed
Does anybody else experience this?
Thanks Johnny,
I've raised a ticket with Microsoft and awaiting their response.
I'll let you know when resolved
Cheers,
Dave
Hello Dave,
I found nothing regarding on your situation and I am not clear how to repro your issue. I would recommend you raise one ticket on this for escalation.
Power Platform Admin Center (admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com)
Hope above would help.

Johnny
Thanks Johnny,
I gave the wrong reference, it is the Bookableresourcebooking entity where this occurs. We are creating bookings against Work Orders (we call Support Requests eg. SR00321)
The equivalent reference: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/developer/entities/bookableresourcebooking#writable-attributes
It appears there is some System Job that is over-writing the booking endtime field everytime we upate the Booking Status to Completed
When I create a Booking not associated with a Work Order, the endtime does not change. So it appears to be some association with the Work Order that is forcing this
Cheers,
Dave
Good day Dave,
There're 2 properties under Appointment Entity
Name | Display Name | Details |
actualend | Actual End | Actual end time of the activity |
scheduledend | End Time | Scheduled end time of the activity |
I found no official doc regrading your mentioned scenario. While it makes sense from following Appointment property definition.
Reference Doc :https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/web-api/appointment?view=dynamics-ce-odata-9#properties
Regards
Johnny
