Page "Item Cross Reference Entries" is marked for removal

Hi experts,

In my BC Cloud extension in Visual Studio Code, I have made a page extension for the page "Item Cross Reference Entries".

I get this warning:

"Page 'Item Cross Reference Entries' is marked for removal. Reason: Replaced by Item Reference feature.. Tag: 17.0.AL(AL0432)".

Where can I read more about this?

Can I now make some changes in my extension, so I am ready and don't have to do anything when Microsoft remove the page? (Or so that I at least only have to remove my page extension.)

How do I get warnings from Microsoft, about their plans to make other changes?

Hope you can help.

Morten

    Morten,

Here is a link to this change - docs.microsoft.com/.../write-longer-item-references

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Hi Steve,

Thank you for the link. On that page, Microsoft only write that this is an option that can be activated. They don't write anything about that the page "Item Cross Reference Entries" is going to be deleted from the system.

I need to know in advance, when Microsoft is going to remove that page, and what I must do to ensure that my extension still works.

    Best regards,

    Morten

    Morten,

I would say keep abreast and announcement of the major releases but I will let others chime in here to give more information.

    Thanks
