I want to add a field on my portal (where pdf from my company are attached) so that when an affiliation form is filled in the application, the form submitter can download those documents for their use. I am not able to add that field from Entity form. Can someone suggest a solution to this.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Shaivya,

You can store PDF file in WebFiles (As a Notes), then modify an existing Web Page(Page Copy)to make field to be a hyperlink and reference the pdf file.

    1.create a web file.

2.Edit web page copy(html) to link PDF file.

    3.Test.

Refresh web page in portal and click link(clcik), the PDF file will be downloaded.

    Hi Leah Ju,

I am trying the steps that you have provided, but I have 2 issues now

    1. I am not able to edit the "Copy(Html)" page. I have the maximum access in CE but still I can't edit it.

    2. Can we do this through Settings --> Customizations --> Customize your System  --> Entities --> and then you select the form of the web page you want to work and add the field for pdf and attach it there?

    Hi Shaivya,

A simple way to achieve it. You can operate it in portal directly by using portal content editor toolbar.

1.After doing Step1 above, register portal and go to Page that you want and click edit.

    2.Add following code: <a href="/PDF"></a>

    3.save.

    Hi,

Please use the concept of webfiles and give pdf extension for the hyperlink.
