New grid feature validation error

We have recently enabled new grid feature and we are running into "Processing has stopped because of a validation issue." error in one of the grids after modifying a field value and hitting down arrow. Upon debugging we discovered that the FormRealControl causing this error has FormDataSource.reseach() on its modified method. The error goes away after commenting reseach() call. Any idea how to fix it without removing the research() call?

Thanks!

    Have you reviewed KB 1581985?

"This root issue was the client cache not having data for a field restricted by country region but continuing to ask for a refresh of that data, and this was fixed by recognizing the situation and avoiding the unnecessary refresh calls entirely. "

It may not be the same form, but the source of the problem is probably the same or similar.

Which form did you encounter this error?

It’s in our own form. Not in a standard one.

What's your platform version? If apply latest update, do you still see this exception?

We have the problem in latest platform version.

    Hi user,

    Thanks for using D365.

For this issue we already reproduced in 10.0.20. and from internal resource seems MS will have a fix plan for the bug, think will release soon.

    any questions just reply me.

The same issue was resolved for me by setting the maintain parameter for the research method to true FormDataSource.reseach(true)
