I am having the worst mental block here.
Am printing W-2s and the W-3 form. There is an option to print a W-3 with boxes, but it just prints all the text and numbers for a preprinted form. Does GP print a W-3 form or is it only for preprinted W-3 forms?

The 'form with box' works for the W2, but not the W3. You would need a preprinted form for the W3. See the links at the bottom of the Dynamics GP Year-end closing blog:

The printing option for the W-3 seems to be a bit misleading to me -- since it is similarly worded to the W-2 printing options to print the form with boxes.
Could this be something for next year? :)
