Case Workflow fails with any other Case Owner

I have a workflow set up to Resolve a case if it has been given a Resolution Code. When I am the Case Owner, I give the Case a Resolution Code, and then Save it. The Case is Resolved by the workflow. When anybody else is set as the Case Owner, the workflow does not Resolve the case as it is intended to do. I have changed the scope, changed it from background workflow to a real-time workflow and back again, changed the order in which the steps are executed, AND I've changed the "Execute As" setting several times. Every other user has the same permissions as I do, but it can't be a permission issue because the workflow only works when I am the Case Owner, and when I attempt to Save the Record having changed the Resolution Code. It does not work when I run it but the Case Owner is not me, and it does not work when any other user attempts to run it on a Case they own. I'm stumped, help?

    Hello James Baker BPI -

This is a really cool implementation of case resolutions.  I like it.  I can't wait to get to the point where we are trying the same flow.  I did some digging and without understanding the flow that has been setup- have you seen these?

    Hi,

You did not mentioned the scope you have changed to what value?

It should work when you set Scope to Organization. So have you tried setting scope to Organization?

Also, make sure user has Read permission on Process Entity in security role.

It does not event trigger for other case owner, if No then what error you see in system jobs?

Please mark my answer verified if this is helpful!

    Hi Bipin,

I set scope to Organization - it still does not work. System Jobs shows no errors, and I can see that the initiating user has Read access on the entity. Any other suggestions?

    James

I hope you have tried converting your workflow to real time workflow.

Can you please share screenshot of your workflow?
