How to Calculate Year-Over-Year Percentage Change in Management Reporter

Posted on by 233

I am calculating average wages for a 3-month period for years 2019-2022. I would like to add a percentage row under sub-totals/total for 2020, 2021, and 2022 to show the year-over-year change (2020 vs. 2019, 2021 vs. 2020, and 2022 vs. 2021).  How do I do that?

These are my Row and Column Definitions:

There's not really a good way to do this.  Rows do not have a way to specify periods or years, like the column definitions do.  You could force an amount with a force calculation, but I'm not sure if that would work in this case.

Let's say that I wanted to force the 3,227.88 amount to another position in the report.  This amount is in Column E, Row 153.  To do that, I'd have to create a force calculation like this:

This will force the amount into Column B, C and D.
