Workflow parallel activity rejection

Hi,

We have a parallel PO workflow where approvers A,B,C,D are in parallel. Say user E submits a PO. Approvers A & B approved it, C rejected and D is still waiting for an action.

Is it possible as soon as C rejects to notify A,B,C,D & E about the rejection and recall the workflow. It is meaning less to continue as one approver rejects it.

Can we make the parallel activities depend on another upon exit of the activity.

Thanks for your reply and suggestions.

I created a workflow with parallel branches for each cost center with only one step in each branch.

It works fine. However my company want to reject the PO as soon as one cost center head rejects it.

I need to inform the originator and approvers of the rejection or like to trigger auto recall of the workflow upon rejection by a user.

I think to do a customization which will run in batch looking for rejected workflow items and recall the whole workflow from code.

Please let me know if there is any work arounds.

Hi Shijth.

Did you set up parallel activities in the workflow or do you have one approval element assigned to 4 persons?

You can do one thing- in every parallel activity worlflow, you can add a email notifications to one user group where the name of the approvers users will be there.
