Assign ownership of workflow - move solution to another environment

Posted on by 260

Hi,

I need to assign all of our workflows, which are currently owned by a normal user, to a new non-interactive user. I have assigned one of the workflows to the new non-interactive user in our test environment. Then I tried moving just that one workflow to our Prod environment - but the owner wasn't updated there.

Will I have to update the owner of the workflows manually in each environment?

Moreover, is it possible to assign the ownership of workflows in bulk or do I have to go through them one by one?

    Thanks for the reply, Paul.

Ah well, I thought that some other unique key, e.g. username, could be used for that.

    Cheers.

The User GUIDs are different so it won't be able to resolve it in Prod. Just import them into Prod and then bulk assign them.
