Migration of Dynamics 365 Sales from tenant to new tenant

Good morning Dynamics community,

one of our customers is allready using Microsoft Office 365 & Dynamics 365 Sales (Cloud) and wants to make a complete change to a new tenant.

Is there an easy way, to migrate Sales from one to an other tenant, including customizations & data ?

I would love to find a "button" in Dynamics, that says "Click for tenant - tenant migration" ;)

1. I think, my customer needs to Setup Dynamics 365 Sales on his new tenant

2. Then Export all of his Dynamics Solutions and import them on the new tenant

3. He needs to migrate all data from one to the other tenant.

Would also be great, when there is a tool on the market, that can do this?!

    Hi Markus, 

    There is a process by Microsoft to move Dynamics from one tenant to another. All the requested instances (environments) will be moved to another tenant along with the data and customizations.

    There are certain pre requisites required at your end like the destination tenant needs to have the Dynamics subscription and some information to be provided regarding the environments to be migrated. You can refer https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/admin/move-instance-tenant for more details on the requirements and brief overview of the process.  

    You will need to open a Technical Support Request with the Microsoft Dynamics team stating your request as 'Tenant to Tenant migration for Dynamics CRM' and they will take it forward from there.
