A client who is using AX 2012 R3 *** 10, is experiencing a problem where they are trying to receipt lines on a purchase order but cannot as it appears that the items have been registered prior to receipt. The purchase order has been raised through a workflow and the workflow has been completed but the document status of the purchase order is displaying "In review", when I try to resume the purchase order through the workflow the following message appears in the workflow activity "Updating has been interrupted because there is an inventory transaction with the status Registered.
At this point it appears that the purchase order is unable to be edited, not able to receive items nor am I able to edit the workflow.
Appreciate any insights anyone can give

Dear Mr. Ashley,
Normally such issues doesn't come. I am not sure about your case.
Once the workflow get completed status of the document must be approved. Are you able to recall the workflow?If yes please recall and repeat the process.
Or
Technically you can update the PO document status and delete the line item and create it again. And proceed with the process.
