Dataset configuration - failed to load sync entities

I am getting this Failed to load sync entities error in my Dynamics 365 trial environment. The feature has worked fine previously. 

Has anyone else experienced anything similar - and is there any way to get around it? 

I have tried clearing the cache of my browser, and also tried other browsers.

    Hi,

    I have recently encountered the same problem.

    It seems to be a bug and it is recommended to raise a support ticket for further help.

    Can you share your Support Request ID for the case where they fixed the issue for you? Having a case to refer to usually speeds things up a bit :)

    Hi,

    Sorry but I haven't raised a request since I'm using a test tenant.

    The issue was caused by a general issue with dataset configurations across many environments/orgs. It has now been resolved.
