I'm working on an implementation that is using Project Operations for resource/non-stocked based scenarios, with full expense deployment within D365 Finance and Operations, and limited custom maps within dual write.
My client has requested that the drop-down list of projects a user sees when entering an expense (either via mobile app or within D365FO) are only those projects that the user is assigned to, rather than a list of all projects.
If I recall correctly, when using PMA in D365FO WITHOUT a Project Operations connection, this could be achieved with Resource/project validation groups setup, but this feature is not available in FO when using ProjOps.
Is there a way to achieve this out of the box? If not and some custom work is required, how did you approach the problem?
