Hi Team,

CRM has a feature where User can store documents in Sharepoint. For WorkOrder (Entity in CRM) we have a Power Automate flow that creates a sub folder called Temporary_WO.

Whenever someone adds a file to that folder, the customer wants this to be reflected in the Workorder Entity. How can i achive this.

Thanks in advance.

I have the same question (0)

Hi, Your when you configure sharepoint entities, a WorkOrder already should by created the this folder should have subfolder(like each record in dynamics) and each of this folder's name is composed by WorkOrderName_Guid e.g: workorder1_a16815fdee04eb11a813000d3a5c0185 and every time you upload a file to that path you will see those files in your record in the related seccion called Documents. so maybe your flow should mimic that folder structure.

    regards.

    Hi Pablo Roldan,

    Thanks for your reply.

I have a query. If someone adds a file in that folder, if we somehow can update the WorkOrder like a 2 option set called "Temporary_Wo Filled" . Is that possible.

    well here como more questions...

this is like a custom folder right?

this folder should handle all document for all workorders?

AFAK you can hanlde the document cration action in your flow. but if one of the above questions is answered yes, then there is not a way for getting the related record in Dynamics to associate with. maybe if the file has the Guid of the dynamics record in the name like workorder1_FBBE1E33-DABC-EB11-8236-000D3A5BF335.pdf then you could that file to copy or move it to the path I mentioned before then remaning it. could be a workaround.
