How to connect a Dynamics Cloud environment as a "Linked Server" in SQL Server Management Studio?

Using SSMS I have managed to connect to a Dynamics Online environment: 

Now, I'm trying to add that very same environment as a /Linked Server/ to no success. I was following this tutorial (https://www.cdata.com/kb/tech/dataverse-odbc-linked-server.rst) but I get the following error when trying to connect: 

I'm using the following configuration when configuring the connection:

 

In the /Security/ configuration I use the same login/password as when I connected to the server successfully in SSMS. 

If there is anything obviously that I'm doing wrong please let me know. I'm also suspecting maybe some firewall issue perhaps since this is a production server. Could it be that some port is blocked for /Linked Server/?

    Hope you are well.
    Unfortunately this scenario is un-documented so we must consider it unsupported.
    Dataverse only has documented  powerbi/excel/ connector , and SSMS as preview.
     
    Any other usage on the TDS endpoint should fall on unsupported grounds.

    What we may understand here is that linked servers functionality requires access to additional functions within a SQL server, and that is not available through TDS Dataverse implementation.
     
    Any additional doubts on the mentioned link should be targeted to the owner of the same.
