Why is MS D365 XRM/CRM so broken?

Whatever functionality I started learning, there is immediately become something which is not supported "by design" or it's a bug or something else. It was not the case with the older MS products. There was always some problems, we some times was joking for them, but no one ever was really angry with them. Today it is not the case. I grew up as a programmer with Microsoft products and today I am really disappointed now. And what a design is it, that waste our time? And there are three different standard data access ways and no one is really ok. Why should one company create three different access layers? So much design and so much restrictions by design and in the end, it wastes our time.

I have the same question (0)

Hi, This is Business Central forum, not a CRM forum.

But I understand your feeling that Microsoft gives a lot of restrictions and many of these restrictions are given to partners to bear. For example, when BC was upgraded to SaaS, partners had to change many solutions because the original practices were not supported in SaaS.
But I think this is also unavoidable in Package product development, and I think even if you change to another product, there will be other restrictions.

Hope this gives you some help.

    Thanks.
