I see that you are using ax2009, don't be surprised if you don't see the class. Ledgertrans should give you correct data, you have to add filters etc.
[/quote]Actually the data in Balance report(as shown in image), I thought populated from LEDGERJOURNALTRANS and then it use LEDGERBALANCESDIM
But from these tables I am not able to derived the opening balances column of the report.
Can you give details in context with the same?
Hi Bhavesh,
During year end closing, the balance of all the balance sheet accounts is shifted to the 'Transfer of closing and opening transactions' in automatic account transactions mentioned in GL parameters. So if we see the transactions, the same account is also used for creating opening balance entries.

It's a data provider class with in AX, go to AOT > classes > and search for the class.. also to check balance, check ledgertrans table.

Yes, that is the definition of the opening balance but I need the information actually from where the data is coming to that report.
The details of database table used behind it. As it calculate based on debit/credit etc.
Hi Bhavesh Gohel,
When you run the year end closing in ERP; system will move the closing balance of that financial year in the next financial year as opening balance.
