Commerce Runtime - Using payment as Cash or Cheque

HI ,

Has anyone any examples of using the Commerce Runtime using cash or cheques.

I would like to create a sales order from a shopping cart, but it fails saying "Unable to retrieve tender service for operation: 0."

It looks like it is trying to process a payment. IS it possible to just create an order. I would like to charge the customer on account.

    Hi Jaya,

Yes I was able to get past the issue. In the Retail Module you need to create a number of different payment methods.

If you navigate to Retail > Setup > Payment methods > Payment methods.

You have an option of added a number of different types, if you add cash or cheque it will bypass a processing connector.

    Choose from the options below

In the Default function field, select a function. The payment methods that are described for the following functions are examples of typical retail payment methods:

Normal – Use this function for currency.

Card – Use this function for debit cards, credit cards, corporate cards, and other forms of card payment.

Check – Use this function for personal checks and other negotiable documents.

Customer – Use this function if you extend credit to customers and then collect payment later.

Tender remove/float – Use this function if you add cash to, or remove cash from, the point of sale (POS) register drawer.
