AX 2012 CIL Error when loading the field

Hi Strange error after incremental CIL: Error when loading the field. Type:XY_FormTreeDatasource, Field: imageList System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: type at System.Reflection.Emit.FieldBuilder..ctor(TypeBuilder typeBuilder, String fieldName, Type type, Type[] requiredCustomModifiers, Type[] optionalCustomModifiers, FieldAttributes attributes) at System.Reflection.Emit.TypeBuilder.DefineFieldNoLock(String fieldName, Type type, Type[] requiredCustomModifiers, Type[] optionalCustomModifiers, FieldAttributes attributes) at System.Reflection.Emit.TypeBuilder.DefineField(String fieldName, Type type, Type[] requiredCustomModifiers, Type[] optionalCustomModifiers, FieldAttributes attributes) at System.Reflection.Emit.TypeBuilder.DefineField(String fieldName, Type type, FieldAttributes attributes) at Microsoft.Dynamics.Ax.Xpp.ILGenerator.loadFieldsIL(TypeBuilder typeBuilder) at Microsoft.Dynamics.Ax.Xpp.ILGenerator.declareFields() at Microsoft.Dynamics.Ax.Xpp.ILGenerator.GenerateXppModule() The CIL generator found errors and could not save the new assembly.     Go to the form for which you are doing incremental CIL compilation..

    first compile it and check it for any error..

    if there is no error may be consider full compilation and full CIL compilation of the system

    Please verify and update with your findings.

    Please do Ful CIL first then you will popup with exact forms, classes and tables where the error originates.

    After solving the issues please do Ful CIL again and Increment CIL.

    Still if you are popup with any generic assembly errors please do the following:

    1. Stop the AOS.

    2. Delete all of the source in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\Server\MicrosoftDynamicsAX\bin\XppIL directory.

    3. Start the AOS.

    4. Perform a full CIL generation.

    If nothing above solve your issue then atlast you can go with the Ful Application compilation, because this will take a long time.

    Yes, did steps 1-3, than full compile, full CIL, synchronize db and all errors where gone.

    Hi Rudra.

    I did all your said steps , but in my case problem is , I am unable to do incremental CIL . If i do incremental CIL , AX gets hangs for more that 3 hours..

    please help me with any other action to be taken
