Ls retail nav manager authentication

We have certain functionalities under our ls retail POS that are strictly for the store manger (such as changing quantities, voiding lines, voiding transactions, discounts...)

When the cashier wants one of these functionalities they have to call for the store manager to come to the POS to login with his user.

Is there a way to allow store manager authentication to be buy swiping his card then entering his NAV password? Because i am being told that authentication can be either card swiping only or putting NAV username and password.

The reason why we want card swiping and entering password is to minimize abuse or card theft and to make sure “as much as possible” that the store manager is physically present when doing these functionalities.

Thank you

Yes You can do That requires you to Setup MSR Link Setup and you have to change the Login of all staff to Cards . Its a Smart move saving time.

In Functionality Profile you have to Check Allow MSR Cards and in Staff Card you have to Link  MSR card. Then Users Can Swipe to Login . Never tried this hmm

We want cards plus the NAV password of the user, that is scan his/her card and enter a password.

We want that incase store manager card was stolen or used without his knowledge. But i completely understand it has to be done on all staff (cashier and supervisor)
