Reconcile Smartlist security

Is there a way to reconcile Smartlist security? Suddenly a client reports some users see certain Smartlists while others do not. In this case all users should be able to see all Smartlists. They would be happy to get it back to the way it was.

Are they missing the yellow folders (ties to GP Security) or are they just missing favorites within the folders? (That is caused by users selecting something other than System when saving their favorite. If that is the case, the user who sees the favorite needs to modify the favorite to be at System or Company.)

Smartlist security should be controlled by standard Security Tasks and Roles.

I would suggest using GP Power Tools Security Information window to compare settings between users and work out what is happening. Then you can resolve it.
