Purchase requisition workflow: error @sys119263 can't find a position for this employee

Hi,

I'm working in de VPC 3.5. I have setup de workflow or the Purchase requisitions approval. The approval should be based on the Hierarchy starting from requisitioner.

I have also setup positions with reference an employee number and accordingly also the reports to etc.

When the workflow is submitted I receive an error. The connection between employee and position could not be found.

Can anyone help?

    Hmm, do you have correct values in Valid from/Valid to fields (form Positions, tab General)?

    The use of hierarchy functionality during the requisition workflow configuration is dependent on jobs and positions. Each Position must be associated with a "Reference" or Employee number to identify the users place in the hierarchy. Take a look you your Positions screen from the Basic Module and make sure every field under the reference column is populated with a unique employee identification variable.
