Modify Flows/Journeys

When we want to modify journeys in OBM we have to stop the journey and clone if we want to add certain steps. If we stop a journey all members will end their journey so it is very cumbersome to make modifications. Would be better to be able to pause the journey, each contact stays where they are until it is activated again. Or is this possible in RTM journey?

thank you

    Hi Anna-Lena,Y

You can make lightweight edits to journeys, such as renaming elements or adjusting goal percentages, without stopping them. You can also make major changes with real-time marketing's built-in journey version control feature. These features give you the flexibility to make edits on the fly, without concern about breaking or being unable to revert a journey.

Thanks a lot! This seems to be an advantage compared to OBM. Currently, if we edit the journey we have limited editing options and all persons in the flow will end it automatically. Any suggestions on that?

I have an additional question. I am testing a journey in RTM. It is live and then I modified it by adding an additional step. The start was a segment. The person in the segment in version 3 completed that version but were also added to version 4. So that implies that if you make changes to a journey you need to suppress anyone who is in the previous version in the new version. Correct? Why is there not a functionality that if you modify a journey all contacts remain in their current step and once you activate / save it again they continue their journey. Seems logical.
