I have been asked a question regarding Marketing App configuration. The requirement is to be able to send to multiple emails and email types. Our client has created a custom Email entity (independent our our D365 Address entity). How will this affect the connection with the Marketing app? Can the Marketing app be configured to search on a custom entity for email addresses or is it only the OOTB email fields?

Hi Lynn,
If you would like to send to an email address from a custom "Email" entity associated to a given recipient/contact, you could do this by creating a relationship between "Contact" entity and "Email" entity. Then, in the "To address" field in the email editor - you could use the "Assist Edit" </> functionality to select an email field from the "Contact -> Email (Contact)" related entity.

What you want to achieve here? As per my understanding, marketing App cannot send a custom email entity, only msdyncrm_marketingemail.
