new to D365 some questions

Greetings.

I took upon myself the task of arranging and designing the application of our company.

And I wanted to know a few things:

1) Is it possible to download the features that come with the app. And change everything there according to our needs. Make a minimalist design

2) Is it possible for other employees to see only what I choose?
(For example, if I have sales and field agents and technical support, I would like everyone to have access only to what I choose sales only for sales)

4) I would also like to know if it is possible to get updated guides that can help me design and arrange the application in the best possible way

P.S

we are an IT\helpdesk company so if you have some guide or recommended  features  that can help us work beater i love to know :)

    Hi bar,

    Welcome to Dynamics 365 community.

    1.Dynamics 365 provides a very rich set of custom development resources. You could add custom ribbons, developing custom workflows by C#, accessing and modify data via WebApi etc..

    Here is the detailed description of Microsoft. There are many practical samples in it.

    2.You could use Security Roles to control user permissions on entities. Go to Settings->Security->Security Roles and modify permissions through your logic.

    You could assign users to different roles based on business needs.

    Refer to this Microsoft Doc for more details.

    3.The latest version of Online is V9.1, and here is the release notes.

    Thank you for the help.

    I want to know if there is a place that people share some custom build or features that can help me get better customization.

    Like if there an option to add exle custom fields to an account so I can put info that I need

    For example we manage  a lot of equipment so I want to have option to do a list of equipment a company account have like: hp switch model/user/pass.   fortigate model/user/pass and and so forth

    Hello bar,

    I'm not sure that this kind of places exist but you can find some informations on internet/forum, there is an usefull link :  CRM Book

    If you want to manage equipements about an account, you can do it by creating an custom entities related to account entity ( relation account N:1 custom entity) and then you can add the list to the account form.
