Charge two types of taxes in one invoice

Hi Everyone,

I am using nav 2016. I want to add two types of taxes in one invoice. I had done service tax setup.

For one type of tax its working fine. But in another case i need 10%(Service tax) of invoice into One GL Account and 25% of invoice(Other tax) into another account. So i need to charge 35% tax for invoice.

Please give any suggestion.

Thanks in Advance

There is no way in standard NAV to do that. You will have to solve that by developing a customization or if you find a country or region where this is done as a localization that could also help you.

    Hi,

Which local functionality you are using ?

Well we don't have that kind of taxex in the markets where i work. But if this a legal requirement in a market that NAV is released for it is most likely covered by a localization made by Microsoft.  Have you looked at the localized version for India or are you working in the W1 version?

    Hi Paras and NorthW,

    Thanks for your response.

    Indian locality we are using.

Actually we don't want to customisation.

Only GST Tax we are using. but we also have some transactions in foreign currency.

but in indian locality there is no functionality such like With-holding tax.

So I need with-holding and Vat Reverse Combination.

    Please Give any suggestion

If you go by customisation then it would be better.

as you know there is no With-holding functionality in Indian locality.

If there is Service tax functionality. then you can use it in your case with mapping to different accounts as per your requirement.

But It will be not best practice.

I only want to map it to G/L Account because there are very less transactions regarding this so we don't need customisation.

I had create setups for service tax also create GL Accounts regarding this. its also working fine.

But now how to do setup for vat in same invoice?

You can use SB Cess functionality and do setups for VAT Reverse.

Be careful for mapping in this case.
