Fetch XML SSRS Report

ReportReport
Posted on by 20

I have created a FetchXML based SSRS report in Visual studio by following this article : https://readyxrm.blog/2018/07/24/how-to-create-your-first-dynamics-365-ssrs-report/

The report is working fine.

Now I have to move this report to UAT environment.

The report i created uses a datasource pointing to dev environment. How should I move this to UAT Environment?

I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

No need in doing that. CE will take care of it and use proper instance.

And If I migrate this report to UAT will it work? The datasource in Visual Studio points to Dev

Yes, you can move the report using Solution - just add it so solution, export from source, import to destination. CE will take care of connection - you have no need to point to your UAT in VS.
