Model store import and compilation

Hi Team,
 
Is it required to do full compile in AX 2012 after importing model store using Powershell or AxUtil ? I heard some people commenting not required.
 
 
Import-AXModelStore -File <Filename> //powershell
axutil importstore /file:filename //AXUtil
 
 
Please answer my question, Is it required to do full compile in AX 2012 after importing model store using Powershell or AxUtil ?

    The modelstore contains the compiled application as well, therefore an extra compilation isn't needed.

    You don't understand. I'm not saying that importing a modelstore will compile code. I'm saying that modelstore already contains compiled binaries, therefore no compilation is needed. And this fact isn't related to which mechanism you use to import the modelstore.
