Today I deployed and tested UDE and got so frustrated with the develop and test iteration time. Its taking ages to develop and test small changes.
Many times developers need faster compilation and testing times. Using UDE would kill their productivity.
Since Microsoft is not going to provide the Downloadable UAT database backup bacpac/bak files, which means we have to rely totally on UDEs in future, it's going to be tough job to explain why the development time has increased exponentially in many scenarios where much of the time would be spent in waiting for deployment process.
Is anyone aware of the Microsoft roadmap if they are planning to cut-down the develop and test iteration time close to the CHE/VHDs?
