Hi all,

The following error occurs while running any reports in ax 2012 r3.

"Parameter _server URL cannot be empty or null".

I tried compiling all the classes and application also, but still error remains.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Sathish

    Hi

Have you check the Report Server configuration parameters?

    The validation works well?

    1) have you verified reporting server url from File menu on left top side?

    2) have you deployed default reports?

    Hi,

    sorry for the late reply.

    report manager url is empty..!!

    what should i give thr?

    it depends upon your environment.

after you are sure that you have installed "Reporting Services extensions",

you can go to your reporting server and open "Reporting Services Configuration Manager". Go into reporting Manager URL (Tab) and take it from there.

There can be another  approach, you simply go to AX Reporting setup form, Create a new record, provide Reporting server name and Instance name, it will automatically create URL.

Normally its done automatically as you install "Reporting Services extensions". And still I am doubtful if you have really installed those or not
