    Hello Sravan,

Thank you for posting this question out here.

Can you please elaborate on the question please.

Do you mean that you want to import your AD objects or users as contacts in CRM. You can do this by importing them into CRM with details of AD objects.

Or are you looking for something else?

    Please let us know.

    Thank You.

We need  to import AD-Users as contacts into CRM. This import should update existing contacts and create new contacts.

What would be best way? Thanks.

You can create windows service to connect to ADS Server to fetch the AD Accounts information using WMI Query and update CRM .

    PLease refere followinf URL

    Hi,

I have seen this scenario when using CRM as a helpdesk app. You could use powershell to query your AD or LDAP and create a CSV :

    www.techrepublic.com/.../powershell-script-for-getting-active-directory-information

Then import this using the migration wizard as every 15 days is pretty infrequent.

    Otherwise :

    1. Use Visual studio to create a console application which queries AD as above and the CRM SDK to import and update and use Windows Scheduler setting it every 15 days

    2. Use a tool like scribe to move the txt file into CRM or Simego DS to connect AD and CRM together:

    www.simego.com/.../Importing-Active-Directory-Contacts

    http://www.scribesoft.com

    Good Luck,

    (DISCLAIMER: I work for Simego)

Guys. I have a similar requirements. is it possible via Scribe to bring all users from Active directory into CRM?

Scribe may consume the text file generated via PowerShell as David E. mentioned. I dont think Scribe has AD connector yet.

However, if Scribe can be scheduled to run PowerShell scripts then you could chain the Processes together.
