Allow Attachements for E-Mail Templates

Dear all,

I have a question about how to attach files in Dynamics 365 email templates.

It seems, that only the system admin can select this button while creating an template. For all other users, the button is completly missing.

I thought that this is an access right that I can select in the security roll configuration to allow this option for other colleagues as well, but I didn't found the option to allow this?

Does anyone know how to allow to add files to email templates for common users?

Hi Robin,

Would you please indicate whether you created the email template from the Customer Service Hub or from Advanced Settings?

If the template is created from the former one, it will be saved automatically when created and the buttons will be shown.

Here is the template I created from Customer Service Hub with a user who is not a system admin.

If the template is created from the latter one, the buttons will be shown after you save the template.

Here is the template I created from Advanced Settings - Settings - Business - Templates with system admin.
