Contract Proposal error

When one particular user tries the Visit Schedule on a contract proposal they get the below errors:

On the "Exception has thrown by target of an invocation". To fix this we have been changing Joe’s email in D365 from as-e.com to Rapiscan.com. Have him logout of D365, login with Rapiscan.com

He receives this error. "Locale needs to be specified. Parameter name: locale" after the email change. We keep on going back and forth with email changes.

We cannot delete his login and re-add it as he has too many personalizations he would lose and we are not even sure it will fix this issue.

Please see attached

Any suggestions would be welcomed.

    Hello,

Your user errors happen because the Azure AD account and the D365 user record are out of sync after switching the email/UPN back and forth. This corrupts the user’s locale + identity cache.
Set the final email, then in Power Platform Admin Center do Users → Refresh User, and reset the user’s personal settings. No need to delete the user.

    Hello,

The issue occurs because changing the user’s email alias between domains causes mismatched identity and locale settings in Azure AD and Dynamics 365, leaving cached personalization tied to the old email. The “Locale needs to be specified” error means the user’s session lacks a valid locale after the change, and repeated toggling worsens it.

To fix this without deleting the user, finalize the correct email in Azure AD, sync it to D365, clear personalization cache for that user, and explicitly set a valid language/locale (e.g., en-US).

Avoid repeated email changes and, if needed, export personalization before clearing to preserve customizations.
