May I know how to create report pre-printed in D365 FO ? If lets say we have /unique/ paper size, should we create new paper size first ? and what about the position of what we want to print, let say it is Cheque printing, normally the position of amount, date, customer's name, each has to be precisely started in some area of the paper, would it need exact measurement ?
And are we able to print to PDF first in this case, then later we can print to the real paper which is the pre-printed paper.
What information is included in the pre-printed paper's header and footer? For the check itself, you can use Electronic Reporting and update the standard provided by Microsoft. You can also move the fields and define the paper size.
As regards other business documents, you can set them up via AR > Setup > Forms > Form setup. This setup allows you to manage the paper format, whether blank or preprinted, via configuration. It's called Paper Format and is found on each business document tab.
