Released product-> product and item numbers are shown different

Dear All,

Hope everyone doing well.

I am facing issue on released product for specific company.

I have released many of the products in specific company so in released product form, product number and item number are shown same but when i released specific product then product name is showing in item number as shown below:

The IDs are not required to be the same. It seems that you've chosen "Safety Helmet" as the item ID in this company.

Dear Martin,

Thanks for your reply. I didn't choose the 'Safety Helmet' as item id in this company, I just released the product from Product master to this specific company, can you give me hint that where a user can choose the item id from product master?

Hi Rahat,

Do you have any customizations in the system for this? By default the code assigns Item number the same as product number.

After debugging the code i found the issue, in EcoResProductIdentifier table ProductNumber has been set as Product Name 'Safety Helmet'. I don't know how and why but i changed it with product number. So after release this ProductNumber is set as Item number in released product.
