I saw that users cannot save their own filtersin the workspace. It does not see filtering as a view change. This does not work in thestandard workspace either.
But , for example, adding a new field to the grid is seen as a view change and can be saved. This problem is only related to filtering in workspaces.
For example; 'Vendor invoice entry' or 'Channel Deployment' - These are standard workspaces.
Is there anything I'm missing about this? Or if anyone has a solution or suggestion, that would be very helpful.
I tried to explain with the screenshots below.
1) I gave a value to the 'Vendor Account' field and filtered it.
2) I saved it as 'SE own filter'
3) I selected this view and refreshed the screen, but the values I expected to be listed are not coming and all values are displayed.
Hi Secli,
I can repro the scenario. Following can be answer for this behavior:
Ref. to Microsoft, Views are available on most but not all pages. Specifically, views are currently available on all full-screen pages except dashboards. View support for workspaces is available through the Saved views support for workspaces feature. Most non-full-screen pages, which include drop-down dialog boxes, lookups, and enhanced previews, don't currently support views. View support for dialog boxes is available through the Saved views support for dialogs feature.
