SQL Serer update 2016 to 2017; SQL Prereq not recognized

Hello Everyone,

I did a backup an On-Premise Dynamics CRM 2016 9.03 database from SQL Server 2017, I then tried to restore to a SQL server 2016 database. Of course this did not work, so I upgraded my 2016 SQL Server to SQL Server 2017. Update went successfully,  I then was able to restore the new database on my recently upgraded SQL Server 201. After this was completed i went to my CRM Server to import the organization and this is when I get the error that stats that a pre-req is not installed and I need to install SQL Server Extensions. I have done this action multiple times and it is still not recognizing the extension. What is the best solution for this?

    Did you configure Reporting Service?

Please try to configure and repeat once again.

But here you are showing Reporting services from SQL engine.

The complaint here on CRM setup is CRM reporting extensions need to be installed.

    learn.microsoft.com/.../install-dynamics-365-reporting-extensions-command

The setup for CRM reporting extensions would be inside the download link for each crm v9.0 version:

    support.microsoft.com/.../microsoft-dynamics-365-on-premises-cumulative-updates-ed51f905-cf4e-3641-dc7c-afe2b868eeb9

But still you may hit the scenario described here as a next step:
