Hi all,
We discovered an issue in the calculating of geocoding....
In the netherlands an address contains a street, postal code and city. No state/province is mostly not available.Sometimes a street is present in multiple cities and in that case the calculation of the geocode results in a geocode in the wrong city.
What can we do to solve this? Without using the province...
Thanks for your reply!
Marcel
Hi Jupiter,
We provide a valid street, postal code and city (province is empty). Then the wrong geocode is calculated. It looks like the city and postalcode are ignored in the calculation. The calculated geocode is pointing to the same street in antoher city.
Regards,
Hi Marcel -
When we provide a valid Postal Code it is updating the right Geo code in the application?
Just by street name as you mentioned there can be many other streets with the same name. Since street name is not a unique value it is recommended to provide any unique value in the address so that it can update the accurate GeoCode .
