I am getting the following error when running the Dynamics Utilities to do an upgrade.
Current Version 16.00.0814 (R2)
New Version GP 2018 R2 (18.00.0628)
I then installed the
Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 R2-English Version: 18.00.0628 (from servicepaks/hotfix downloads)
Upon running Utilities I get an error - and below are the contents of DUINSTALL.LOG.
Failure encountered ON 11/7/2020 at 7:54:53 PM. Error: Product 0 does not support upgrading from version 16.0.814.
Failure encountered ON 11/7/2020 at 7:54:53 PM. Error: Product 309 does not support upgrading from version 16.0.802.
Failure encountered ON 11/7/2020 at 7:54:53 PM. Error: Product 414 does not support upgrading from version 16.0.799.
Failure encountered ON 11/7/2020 at 7:54:54 PM. Error: Product 4522 does not support upgrading from version 16.0.15.

Yes I am attempting to upgrade from 2016.00.0816 to 2018 R2. I was able to do it after installing 2018 and then the 2019 Year End. After that the database upgrade did complete successfully
Is it too late to start over? GP 2016.00.0816 was the mid-year update for GP 2016. Any thoughts about going to GP 18.2 or 18.3? I can't find this service pack listed anywhere but you need to either try an earlier version of GP 2018 or try GP.2 or GP.3.
