My user has to print a table with plenty columns and rows, thus, with a dot-matrix printer, they are using the paper "US Standard Fanfold"; which is a continuous 37.78cm (h) x 27.94cm (w).
On the Report Properties, VS2010 automatically switches to landscape mode when detecting the value of the width is greater then the height.
This causes the actual printout tilted sideways; I cannot put the paper in sideways because it is a fanfold.
I tried changing the orientation via printer properties but still no luck. The printer turns the fonts to the opposite direction and scales down the size.This is also persistent to other matrix printers.
Any tips, tricks or workaround is much appreciated.
Hello all, the user agreed to use a different fanfold size that has bigger height than the width; ie German Legal Fanfold, 8 1/2 x 13 in - then landscape from there.

Thank you for stopping by. I have tried your suggestion to make the table tilted in the designer.
However, the problem is the header/footer should be above the matrix (or on the right side of the designer).

I do think this is not directly related to AX 2012. You can also use a Visual Studio or SSRS forum if your question is not answered by the suggestion from Blue Wang.

I think you can rotate your text and then design your report based on width and height.
