Batch Manufacturing and Expiration Date Intercompany orders

i want to know, is it possible to update Batch Manufacturing and Expiration Dates Intercompany orders.

i have enabled batch number update option under intercompany setup, that system should update the batch number in purchasing company same as in sales company.

system is updating the batch number but not the dates, it it possible to update by enabling any settings?

No I do not believe so, the information on the selling companys batch record (expiry dates, manufacturing date etc.) is not copied into the purchasing company. From memory there were some elements, but it is treated like a supplier batch, so the creation of the date is the purchasing companies responsibility, which falls down when it is an IC chain in my opinion.

I thought I had read something about this being brought in in D365O which would confirm it is not configurable in AX2012 but I cannot find that post.
