Data Management Import Project to read zipped excel data from Azure Storage file share.

Hello,

The previous D365 admin setup a Data Management Import Project to read excel data from a zip file from a file share on Azure Storage.

I think that is set up in this job:

Does anyone know what I do to see the connection to the Azure File Share?
I have the same question (0)

Data Management doesn't support it. Someone could modify it, but it's much more likely that there is an external app (such a Logic App, Azure Function or something like that) that reads files from Azure Storage and calls this import project through a Data Management API.

    Hi,
Based on the problem you described, it seems that you have a problem reading files from Azure. You can refer to this document: Connect to data in Azure Data Lake Storage - Dynamics 365 Customer Insights | Microsoft Learn.
    Best regards,
    Kevin

    Hello Martin, Kevin,

Thanks to you both for your replies.  So far I have not found any custom code or API's.  But I've reached out to the former admin who has been helpful in the past to try and figure it out.

For the benefit of the community I'll post again here once I've figured it out.

    Hello all,

Follow up on this one. It turns out there is custom code developed by previous teams to provide a SysOperation framework.  That code provides for specifying the target ERP environment and for the source location on an Azure File Storage location.

    Best Regards,
    - Jim
