Custom Report Layout - changed for every user?

Hi,

I am wondering if you change the report layout for every user if you were to select a custom report layout.

Or does this custom selection only change for the specific user?

Our company uses multiple sales quote for example, and we have multiple sales staff. If salesman(1) were to select custom report A and salesman(2) were to select custom report B at the same time. Do they both get the custom report B or do they keep their own selection?

    You might need to customize the custom report selection based on user id and need to create different layout for every user

    I'm sorry, what do you mean by this?

    What I want from Nav 2016 is that if someone selects a custom report layout, that it WON'T change the report selection for others using the same ERP-software.

    Now I was wondering if this is already the case in the default software.

    you need to customize for that.. code changes needs to be done.. contact your partner if you are customer.

    I'm not sure we understood your inquiry correctly. If you refer to report layout (e.g., how the end report looks like in its print version), and you want that different users would see different layout depending on the user, then you need to customize it. If you talk about having some info in the report selection page (the one that is opened before the report is printed), then the information there is saved per user. If you have multiple sales quotes, you can have them all as different separate reports, and different users would just use different reports.
