Use custom customer fields in real-time segments

Hi, 

We're testing the new real-time segment builder, and have som issues regarding custom customer fields. 

We have a custom table where we have a custom field of type 'customer', and this is the relation we want to utilize to fint the contact for the segment. However, when adding attributes from the custom table to the segment, the relation via customer is not applicable.

When trying to do the same from an standard table (and standard customer field), it works fine. It also works in the Outbound segment builder.

The question is: How can we use custom made customer fields in real-time segments?

    I am also having the same issue. I'm unable to select a custom table in the realtime segment builder, but am able to reference it in the Outbound segment builder.  OP, were you ever able to resolve your issue?

    I was able to add the Custom table after adding an additional relationship between the Custom table and Contact table. 

    It seems like the real-time segment builder was having trouble associating the custom table with just the customer (Contact & Account lookup) field.
