Sales Order Events - Event Description and Comments

Hi,

When we are modifying sales orders in D365 F&O, we have configured the system to audit the order events to appear in the order events log. This is all working as expected, but we would like to progress further and track the reasons for order modifications. There seems to be some standard additional fields to add, but we are not sure how to populate these:
Does anyone know how we populate these or use them to track the reasons for modifications to a Sales Order?

Many thanks,
Dom

    Hi,

I think you should do customization to achieve it, try to debug the code and see how the already exists fields are filled and you should follow the same way through extensions

    Thanks,

I have looked further and can't see anything in the configuration setup for order events which relates to these fields being populated or setup.

Can anyone show an example of these fields being populated?

    Hi,
The official document only provides fields such as date and user code for selection when creating an order event. There seems to be no direct page for configuration in the system regarding fields such as comment and event description. You can right-click this field to find the form information for this field, which may need to be configured.

I don't have much to say, but to give some context to others, the question seems to be about MCROrderEventTable and fields like MCRComment or MCRReasonCode.
